Walk Now for Autism Speaks

For the second consecutive year, Raisin Rack will be one of the corporate sponsors for the Autism Walk. We will be organizing two walk teams, one for the Westerville store, and the other for the Canton store. Both stores will engage in Raisin’ Awareness fund-raising and educational activities in the upcoming months. We will communicate details through our website, e-mails, Facebook, Twitter, and blog for both the Cleveland and Westerville stores. We are once again please to be partnering with Walk Now for Autism Speaks and to provide support for the families affected by autism. In addition to our 2009 corporate sponsorship, the staff at both Raisin Rack locations managed to raise a combined $5,000 from donations of the sale on selected items, through the sale of puzzle pieces at the registers and the generous donations made by our customers. Once again this year Raisin Rack will have a tent set outside the walk in Columbus where free product samples, information and coupons from gluten-free vendors and partners will be offered.
The walk in Cleveland takes place on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Voinovich Park with the walk starting at 10am. The walk in Columbus takes place on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Jerome Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University with the walk starting at 11am.
